Senior Finance Systems Analyst
Purpose of the Role
The role exists to ensure the core Finance systems operate effectively and support Finance transformation and automation initiatives. The systems specifically mentioned are:
BORIS
Planning Analytics
CIPS & Digital Beehive
The role also supports the Finance Systems team in developing new processes, improving productivity and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships across Finance and the Business Services Centre

Key Responsibilities
Systems Management
Ensure BORIS, Planning Analytics and CIPS/Digital Beehive are functioning correctly.
Maintain system controls and data quality.
Act as system administrator for Planning Analytics and Oracle.
Ensure Finance systems remain stable and fit for purpose

Reporting & Month End
Lead month-end control activities.
Support timely account closure.
Develop management information and reporting solutions.
Support finance reporting requirements.

Automation & Continuous Improvement
Use programming skills to automate business processes.
Deliver solutions that improve efficiency and reduce cost.
Recommend new systems and process improvements.
Support strategic Finance Systems projects.

Team Leadership
Mentor and coach junior analysts.
Support workload planning and quality control.
Develop team capability and technical skills

Stakeholder Management
Work closely with Business Services Centre finance teams, Finance Business Partners & senior stakeholders
Challenge and improve financial information processes.
Build strong relationships across Finance and the wider business
