Architect, Design Safety Lead

The Vacancy

Reporting to the Head of Design Safety, you will support the development and delivery of Scott Brownrigg's Design Safety Services, ensuring compliance with CDM and Building Safety Act requirements across projects. Working closely with Technical and BIM teams, you will embed our innovative "Safety Visually" approach throughout the design process and integrate design safety principles across all project stages and digital deliverables.

Your Skills

• Digital design competency (including Revit) with a good understanding of relevant industry legislation and regulation requirements
• Leadership and collaboration skills, confident communicator
• Willingness to support colleagues at all levels of the practice, develop and share skills, promoting and embodying company standards and company vision
• Organised and efficient with attention to detail.
• Highly computer literate, skilled in Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of Affinity Suite applications is beneficial

Your Qualifications and Experience

• RIBA, ARB or overseas equivalent registered Architect with experience of working within the UK Building Regulations
• Experience delivering compliant schemes to meet CDM and Building regulations
• Qualifications or accreditation in CDM/BSA Principal Designer roles eg RIBA Principal Designer register
• Significant experience in the construction industry
