Skilled Production Operative in Melton Mowbray

As a Machine Operative, you will be responsible for working with production machines in a busy High Care food production area. You will set up, run, and check machines to make sure products are made safely and to the right standard. You will spot problems, make basic adjustments, and help keep production running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and run production machines safely
• Complete start-up and safety checks
• Check machines are working correctly
• Monitor products during production
• Make basic machine adjustments when needed
• Report machine, quality, or food safety issues
• Complete production checks and records
• Follow work instructions and production plans
• Help with machine changeovers and start-ups
• Help reduce waste and keep production running smoothly
