Are you passionate, determined, driven and committed to ensure high quality outcomes for all children? St Thomas More Catholic Primary are looking for someone to become a part of our dedicated team.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and creative teaching assistant to support the learning of pupils in the classroom and on a 1:1 basis.The successful candidate must be qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent. A willingness to participate in training and a commitment to teamwork is essential. Candidates should have some understanding of a variety of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and experience of working with different year groups would be an advantage.

We are looking for someone who is calm, flexible, and committed to inclusion, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families, and who will support and uphold the Catholic ethos of our school.

Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check, online check as well as satisfactory references. This post is subject to a 6-month probationary period.
