The Duke of Cornwall Hotel is one of Plymouth's most iconic
and historic hotels. Dating back to 1863, the hotel was created as the city's
first luxury hotel and still carries the character, grandeur and charm of its
Victorian heritage today. With individually styled bedrooms, beautiful event
spaces and a strong connection to Plymouth's history, the Duke is a hotel with
real personality. As the hotel prepares to reopen following improvement works,
this is an exciting opportunity to be part of relaunching a much-loved Plymouth
landmark.
We're looking for a reliable and guest-focused Night Porter
to join the team as we prepare to reopen. This is an important overnight role,
helping to keep the hotel safe, secure and welcoming for guests. You'll support
late arrivals, complete regular safety checks, assist other departments and
help prepare the hotel for the following day. We're aiming for a start date in
late August or early September, making this a great opportunity to join the
team at the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the Duke of Cornwall
Hotel.
