About the Role

This role sits within the ERC-funded project (November 2026 - October 2031) Health under Fire: An Investigation of the Protections IHL Affords Medical Units (HEAL), led by Prof. Neve Gordon of QMUL and collaborating with academics from the LSHTM, University of Manchester, and Insecurity Insight. This five-year research project examines the impact of attacks on healthcare in armed conflicts and whether the laws of war regulating such attacks are fit for purpose

About You

The purpose of this post is to support the activities of the project team by coordinating between the Principal Investigator (PI) and six co-Investigators working in collaboration with a stakeholder network, which will meet regularly over the life of the project.

This includes organising workshops and public engagement events, providing administrative support to team members in the field, and assisting in audio-visual communications, stakeholder relations and social media activity.

The Project Co-ordinator will work with the PI and the rest of the team to ensure the successful delivery, logistical and financial administration, record-keeping, communications and publicising of the work undertaken by HEAL.
