We're advertising this role as Cook to make it easier to find, but at Priory the role is known as Chef and this is the title that will appear on your contract.
Use your passion for cooking to make a meaningful difference every day. Join Priory Hospital Suttons Manor as a Cook, where the meals you create will bring comfort, nourishment, and support to those in our care.
As a Cook, you will work 8:00am - 4:00pm every Saturday and Sunday, taking responsibility for the planning, preparation, cooking, and service of nutritious, high-quality meals within the hospital. You will ensure all kitchen activities and operations are carried out in line with operational standards, food hygiene requirements, and statutory regulations.
Due to the location of the service, access to a vehicle or the ability to drive is recommended.
However, the site is also accessible via the below public transport links.
For more information about the role, you can email JayneTucker@priorygroup.com

The people it supports may have addictions, mental health issues, learning disabilities, autism or one of many other conditions, and it delivers care through roles ranging from nurses, care assistants and support workers to managers and medical specialists.
Its services span addiction treatment, mental health support, eating disorder services, neurodiversity services, residential services, supported living, and both NHS and private healthcare, delivered through inpatient, outpatient and online programmes. Priory also states a goal of embedding a culture of openness, inclusion and trust where colleagues feel they belong, and that every colleague, patient and resident is treated with dignity and respect.
Shortlisting may begin upon receipt of applications, and the Recruiting Manager may close the vacancy early if enough suitable candidates are identified.
