• A Qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with some post-registration experience.

Fern Lodge is looking to recruit a Nurse (RMN) to join the team. This is a bank role.

Fern Lodge is located in the historic Roman city of Chester, in Cheshire. Our home is set in a suburban area of the city, off a main road, and offers residential and nursing support for 17 males and females with mental health needs.

Our team are dedicated to offering a calm, peaceful and homely environment, with 24-hour nursing care. We are able to support people from a variety of backgrounds, including those who have been in hospital, and people who are moving into our home from the community. Our focus is on stabilising our resident's mental health, and supporting them to develop their daily living skills.

You'll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the service and to support the wellbeing of our patients. Whether you're assisting with day-to-day operations, supporting with care requirements, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after, your support plays an important part in creating a positive experience for those who live and work here.

• Deliver prescribed care to a defined group within an agreed framework.
• Assess, plan and deliver, with the patient and their carer/family, nursing care which takes account of patient choice and wishes and acting as the patients named nurse.
• Accurately observe and engage with patients in order to assess need and evaluate progress.
• Monitor and review Nursing Care plans.

• A dual diagnosis with a learning disability, with a primary mental health diagnosis
• Mild to moderate behaviour that may challenge
