About you
In joining our team and supporting a great community and client base, we are looking for a good all-rounder capable in consults and routine surgery. You'll already have experience working in a small animal GP practice in the UK and therefore also be a great communicator and enjoy building relationships with patients, clients and the wider team!
Veterinary Surgeon - part time - only 1 in 4 Saturday mornings - collaborative, welcoming team in Cornwall
Your average day
We see a variety of cases and you'll own your own caseload with the freedom to investigate, with lots of support from the rest of the team. Consults are given 15 minutes as standard, unless we're quieter or more time is needed when we can book 30 minutes instead. There's always time to catch up on admin throughout the day, time for a lunch break and regular clinical meetings too.
Your work environment
Set in a central location to local amenities, transport routes and much more, the practice benefits from having its own parking as well as being a spacious, well set out environment, purpose built to deliver the highest clinical standards. The facilities are excellent, giving you access to all the equipment you need to care for your patients.
We already have a loyal client base with the potential for further growth, and cases can be worked up locally giving you the opportunity to develop any specific interests you have, with certification encouraged and fully funded.
As a growing team, this position is full time 2-3 days a week allowing you to achieve a good balance between home and work, with no OOH and a shared Saturday rota of just 1 in 4 Saturdays 9am-12.30pm.
Location: TR15 3PS
