Veterinary Surgeon

Small Animal Practice | Up to £66,000 DOE (FTE) | No OOH | Relocation Package | Flexible & Part-Time Options Available

If you're looking for a role where flexibility is genuinely understood and supported, and where you'll be part of a warm, close-knit veterinary team, we'd love to hear from you. We're currently seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join us during an exciting period of growth - with true flexibility at the heart of how we work.

At Vets for Pets Merthyr Tydfil, we don't just talk about flexibility - we build it into everything we do. We understand that life doesn't fit neatly around a rota, so we actively shape part-time, flexible, and balanced schedules that work for our people as much as our patients.

Whether you're looking for reduced hours, school-friendly shifts, or a better work-life rhythm, we're open and understanding. We believe great veterinary work happens when people feel supported, not stretched.

• True flexibility, part-time, or bespoke working patterns welcomed
• No out-of-hours (OOH) - protecting your time, rest, and wellbeing
• Salary up to £66,000 DOE (FTE)
• A modern, well-equipped practice designed to help you do your best work
• Strong, experienced nursing team and supportive colleagues
• Generous CPD allowance with real opportunities for development
• A culture that prioritises wellbeing, teamwork, and sustainability in your career

Located in the heart of South Wales, Merthyr Tydfil offers a unique balance of stunning countryside and everyday convenience. With the Brecon Beacons National Park right on your doorstep, it's ideal for anyone who enjoys hiking, cycling, or simply being outdoors.

The town also benefits from:

• Easy access to Cardiff
• Affordable living
• A friendly, community-focused atmosphere
• A great balance between work, life, and nature

If you're a Veterinary Surgeon who values flexibility, a supportive team, and a genuinely positive working environment, we'd love to talk.
