The role
Would you like to be part of a friendly, dynamic Dietetics Team? Then come and join us at Oxford Health.
We are looking to recruit motivated Band 5 Dietitians to join our teams.
These are exceptional opportunities to gain broad clinical experience within Oxford Health.
We are recruiting to multiple Band 5 Dietitian roles, giving candidates the opportunity to consider either a Community Dietetics post based at East Oxford Health Centre or a place on our Band 5 Dietetic Rotation.
At interview, candidates will be asked which of these opportunities they would be happy to be considered for.
Applicants must have a full valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work. Adjustments can be considered in line with the Equality Act 2010 where required.
What you'll do
Our Community Dietetics Team works with patients across Oxfordshire, supporting a varied caseload including nutrition support and enteral feeding.
The static Band 5 role includes both clinics and home visits and provides an excellent opportunity to develop broad community dietetic skills.
Our Band 5 rotation post offers experience across several areas of dietetic practice, including Community Dietetics, Community Hospitals, Mental Health and Forensics. Rotational posts are supported through regular supervision and provide an opportunity to build confidence and experience across different clinical environments and patient groups.
We hope that the advert has given you a clear understanding of the skills we are seeking and the opportunity at hand. You will need to use the "supporting statement" element of your application form to demonstrate your suitability for this role and you should refer to the job description, person specification and the guidance notes attached to this role to help you tailor your application.
The essential and desirable criteria will be used to shortlist for interview and you should ensure that you refer to these within your application to increase your chances of being selected for interview.
We are aware that some candidates may choose to use AI tools to support their application. We kindly remind applicants that submissions should remain an honest and accurate representation of their experience and must take care to ensure the use of AI tools does not generate an application that does not accurately reflect their knowledge, skills and values.
