Company History
On began in the Swiss Alps, where retired athlete Olivier Bernhard experimented with pieces of garden hose glued to a prototype outsole to create a running shoe with a totally new feel. Caspar Coppetti and David Allemann came on board in 2010, and in March 2010 On's revamped prototypes won the ISPO BrandNew Award.
