That's why we're looking for someone who understands how important it is to maintain great relationships while providing the high levels of service in a modern pathology laboratory.

As a Biomedical Scientist at our hospital, you'll bring the relevant qualifications and recent laboratory experience ideally within Blood Sciences, Haematology & Chemistry in a UKAS accredited laboratory. You have a good working knowledge of different analytical equipment in a range of techniques. You're also a natural communicator and team player, and you share our idea of quality.

  • Deliver high-quality pathology services
  • Complete your share of covering the out-of-hours on-call service
  • Perform biomedical diagnostic testing, interpretation, reporting and quality control
  • Keep records of specimens, results, reagents and consumables
  • Support the validation and assessment of new equipment and new diagnostic procedures
  • Help ensure we deliver the very best experience for patients

Helping you feel good

We want you to love coming to work, feeling healthy, happy and valued. That's why we've developed a benefits package with you in mind. From Holiday in line with the Working Time Directive, access to our Pension Scheme and discounted gym membership at £35.00 a month.

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.
