As a Placement Test Analyst based at our Leicester Head Office, you will join our rapidly growing technology team to play a crucial role in driving our business forward. You will make a real difference in a fast-moving retail environment by ensuring our technology meets the highest quality standards. Working closely with agile teams and key business users, you will be supported in an encouraging, fast-paced environment where you will learn about manual and automated testing strategies to build a great career.

This is a 12-month industrial placement and applicants must be studying a relevant University Degree course that includes a dedicated placement year July 2027 to July 2028.

What you'll take on

Assisting in the production of test plans and the evolution of test strategies across our platforms. Interpreting functional specifications for new features and exploring edge cases to diagnose potential issues.Proactively liaising with the agile team and business users during testing phases.Providing timely updates, generating status reports, and alerting the team to any potential problems.

What you'll bring

Current study towards a STEM degree (on track for a 2:1 or higher) or a STEM Master's degree that includes a 12-month placement, ideally with relevant studies in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field. An exceptional eye for detail and a systematic, logical approach to solving complex problems.Natural curiosity and a strong desire to understand how systems work, and how they might break.Clear and professional communication skills, allowing you to articulate findings to both technical and non-technical team members.A self-motivated, ambitious attitude with an eagerness to learn and build strong, collaborative working relationships.
