The role

What you'll be doing

As a Planning and Delivery Manager, you will lead the training and enablement activities that support the delivery of key initiatives across Business Banking.

You will provide data‑driven insights to senior stakeholders to enhance performance, strengthen risk management, and improve both customer and colleague experience. This will involve designing and embedding improvements to processes and workflows to drive efficiency and consistency.

You will support and enable teams to deliver safe, efficient and consistent customer outcomes, facilitating the collaboration with partners across the business to ensure alignment of plans, priorities and delivery timelines. You will create structure, governance and clarity around change activity and operational commitments, acting as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor to leaders on projects and continuous improvement activities.

About you

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Understanding of Business Banking operations across Business Direct & Contact Centres
  • Experience of planning, reporting, performance management or delivery governance
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex information clearly and a solutions focused mindset.
  • Confidence working with data, insight and Microsoft Office tools to drive performance
  • Ability to balance customer needs with business goals while ensuring great outcomes
  • Excellent organisational and time‑management skills with the ability to work under pressure
  • Proven ability to influence, collaborate and drive positive change across teams

Our customer first behaviours put customers and members at the heart of how we work together. They are the set of behaviours that every colleague needs to display, in every role:

  • Feel what customers feel - We step into our customers' shoes, using their feedback and insights to empathise with them and to understand their needs, so that every decision we make starts and finishes with our customers in mind

  • Say it straight - We are brave in speaking out and saying what we think - we're honest and direct with good intent, openly sharing diverse perspectives to reach the best conclusions and using language everyone can understand

  • Push for better - We don't settle for mediocrity, we challenge the status quo, taking responsibility for continuous improvement and personal development

  • Get it done - We prioritise what will have the greatest impact, we are decisive, and we take accountability for delivering brilliant customer outcomes

You can strengthen your application by showing how our customer first behaviours resonate with you, and where you may have already demonstrated these.
