- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop clear reports, governance packs and executive-level presentations
- Experience leading and embedding significant business change programmes, delivering measurable improvements in customer outcomes, operational performance and colleague experience
- Outstanding leadership skills, including developing leaders, building high-performing teams and creating an environment where colleagues can thrive and perform at their best

- Excellent judgement and decision-making skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities, manage complex business challenges and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
- A broad understanding of the financial services landscape, including market developments, customer expectations, risk management requirements and the factors that drive sustainable business performance
Our customer first behaviours put customers and members at the heart of how we work together. They are the set of behaviours that every colleague needs to display, in every role:
Feel what customers feel - We step into our customers' shoes, using their feedback and insights to empathise with them and to understand their needs, so that every decision we make starts and finishes with our customers in mind
Say it straight - We are brave in speaking out and saying what we think - we're honest and direct with good intent, openly sharing diverse perspectives to reach the best conclusions and using language everyone can understand
