By combining strong storytelling with insight, measurement and audience understanding, you'll create communications that inform, engage and inspire colleagues, while continually identifying opportunities to improve how we connect with our people.
About you
As a minimum you'll have:

Demonstrable writing and storytelling skills, with experience translating complex business topics into clear, engaging and impactful colleague communications.
Proven experience delivering internal, employee, colleague engagement or corporate communications within a large, complex organisation.
Experience developing and executing communication plans and campaigns that support strategic priorities, cultural change and business transformation.
Strong relationship-building and influencing skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across functions and engage stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders.
Experience creating compelling content across multiple channels, including intranet platforms, leadership communications, colleague briefings, campaigns and events.
Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects, balance competing priorities and deliver to deadlines.
Experience using communication, engagement and audience insight data to evaluate effectiveness and shape future activity.
A strong understanding of communication channels and content strategy, with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences and objectives.
Experience building effective working relationships across teams and functions, with a track record of delivering successful communication and engagement initiatives.
Our customer first behaviours put customers and members at the heart of how we work together. They are the set of behaviours that every colleague needs to display, in every role:
Feel what customers feel - We step into our customers' shoes, using their feedback and insights to empathise with them and to understand their needs, so that every decision we make starts and finishes with our customers in mind
Say it straight - We are brave in speaking out and saying what we think - we're honest and direct with good intent, openly sharing diverse perspectives to reach the best conclusions and using language everyone can understand
Push for better - We don't settle for mediocrity, we challenge the status quo, taking responsibility for continuous improvement and personal development
Get it done - We prioritise what will have the greatest impact, we are decisive, and we take accountability for delivering brilliant customer outcomes
You can strengthen your application by showing how our customer first behaviours resonate with you, and where you may have already demonstrated these.
