The role
🌟 Baby Room Leader, My Ohana Gloucester 🌟
Gloucester College, Llanthony Road, Gloucester, GL2 5JQFrom £29,000 per year
🌈 Lead a room where children thrive and your team grows
You know a great room when you walk into one. Children are busy, curious and happy. Parents feel welcomed. Practitioners feel confident and supported. That doesn't happen by chance. It happens because a great Room Leader is at the heart of it.
At My Ohana, we're looking for that person. If you love early years, lead by example and care about your team as much as the children, we'd love to meet you!
What you'll do
As Room Leader, you'll take ownership of your room day to day. You'll shape the children's experiences, guide and develop your team, and build warm, trusting relationships with families. You'll have the freedom to bring your ideas to life, with the backing of a supportive nursery management team. 🤝
Your day will include:
⭐ Leading your room with confidence, modelling great practice and setting high standards
🛡️ Putting children's safety, wellbeing and happiness first in everything you do
🎨 Planning and delivering a fun, action-packed day of activities in line with the EYFS
📝 Supporting and coaching your team so planning, observations and milestones are consistently excellent
👨👩👧 Building positive, open relationships with parents and carers so they feel part of their child's journey
🍎 Creating calm, sociable and positive mealtime experiences
🙌 Helping build a happy, collaborative culture where everyone feels part of the team
Ready to join the family?
If you're ready to lead a room, inspire a team and make a lasting difference to children and families, we'd love to hear from you.
