Position Description

We're looking for an experienced CNC Machine Operator / Pipe Bender to join our growing manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role working with precision CNC pipe bending machinery to produce high quality components for our customers. If you have a strong mechanical mindset, excellent attention to detail, and enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and maintain CNC pipe bending machines according to engineering specifications.
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work orders.
Perform quality checks using calipers, gauges, and measurement tools.
Adjust machine settings to maintain accuracy, consistency, and output levels.
Complete routine machine maintenance and report any issues.
Work to production schedules and ensure targets are met.
Follow all health & safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised work area.
Collaborate with supervisors and engineers to optimise workflows.

Required Education & Qualifications

Previous experience operating CNC bending or CNC machining equipment.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills.
Knowledge of tolerances, measurements, and quality standards.
Competent using measurement tools (e.g., verniers, micrometers, gauges).
Good communication skills and a reliable, teamwork focused attitude.
Flexible and willing to support other areas of production when required

Desirable

Experience with tube/pipe bending in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Basic programming/editing knowledge of CNC machines.
Forklift licence, overhead crane experience, or other relevant certifications
