The role

This is a hands-on role where you will help ensure the efficient receipt, storage, tracking and distribution of materials and equipment. You will play a key part in keeping the stores organised, maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring operational teams have the equipment and resources they need to succeed.

What you'll do

Receive, unload and safely store deliveries.
Book goods in and out using the inventory management system.
Maintain accurate stock records and produce inventory reports.
Keep storage areas clean, organised and compliant with Health & Safety standards.
Support the movement, handling and distribution of materials and equipment.
Assist with deliveries, collections and general labouring duties as required.
Support vehicle management activities, including vehicle tracking, vehicle checks and administration.
Follow all company policies, procedures and Health & Safety requirements.

ROLE: Stores Operative
HOURS: Full Time, 40 Hours per Week (Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30)
LOCATION: Whitefield, Manchester

Required Qualifications

Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.

A positive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills.
Ability to carry out manual handling and physical duties.
Basic IT skills to support inventory and stock control processes.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Fork Lift Truck Licence.
