The role

As a Security Officer, you'll play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for DWP staff, visitors and members of the public. This position offers a consistent Monday to Friday daytime shift pattern, making it ideal for someone looking for stability and work-life balance.

You'll be expected to provide a professional, approachable and visible presence on site at all times.

What you'll do

Maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff and visitors
Carrying out patrols and identifying potential risks
Responding to incidents and supporting emergency situations
Providing excellent customer service and site support
Completing reports and maintaining accurate records
Working closely with colleagues and external services when required
Ensuring all site security procedures are followed at all times
