What you'll do

• Install, assemble and commission industrial wastewater and effluent treatment equipment, including DAF units, disc filters, pumps, valves, mixers and pipework systems.
• Carry out mechanical fitting, alignment, levelling and positioning of process equipment in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.
• Conduct site surveys, equipment inspections, testing and troubleshooting activities to ensure successful project delivery and commissioning.
• Liaise with project managers, electrical engineers, subcontractors and clients to coordinate installation projects safely and efficiently.
• Complete installation documentation, commissioning records, risk assessments and maintain compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.

SALARY: 40,000 - 45,000

Role Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications: applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.

• HNC/HND, NVQ Level 3, apprenticeship, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience installing mechanical process equipment within industrial effluent treatment, water treatment, wastewater treatment, or similar process industries.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs and technical documentation, with strong mechanical fitting and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation, permit-to-work systems and risk assessment procedures.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites throughout the UK.
