Working closely with teams across the prison, you will contribute to the monitoring of performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and provide assurance that key processes are operating as intended. Your work will help support informed decision-making and contribute to the continuous improvement of services across the establishment.
What you'll do
- Conduct audits, compliance checks, and audit walkarounds across the establishment in accordance with audit schedules and business requirements.
- Support the delivery of assurance activities across a range of operational areas, including Visits, Tool Management, Searching, Intelligence, and External Escorts.
- Collect, verify, and analyse audit and performance information to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Produce accurate reports, records, and supporting documentation to provide assurance and support informed decision-making.
- Monitor compliance against contractual, statutory, and operational requirements, and support preparations for internal and external inspections.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and build effective working relationships with colleagues across the establishment to support high standards of performance and compliance.
