  • Finance systems / Systems Accountant experience
  • Experience of finance system implementation, migration or upgrades
  • Strong knowledge of core accounting processes
  • Data migration, reconciliation and testing experience
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong stakeholder management capability
  • Desirable: MRI Financials, finance transformation

The role

Summary

My client is seeking a Systems Accountant to lead the finance workstream of a significant financial systems migration. Acting as the key Finance SME, you'll work closely with Finance, Technology and senior stakeholders to ensure the successful migration, testing and implementation of a new finance platform.

Job Description

  • Leading the finance systems migration workstream
  • Data migration, cleansing, mapping, reconciliation and validation
  • Translating finance requirements into system processes and workflows
  • UAT, defect resolution, cutover and go-live support
  • Improving finance processes, reporting and MI
  • Supporting documentation, training and change management

The Successful Applicant

  • Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent
  • Finance systems / Systems Accountant experience
  • Experience of finance system implementation, migration or upgrades
  • Strong knowledge of core accounting processes
  • Data migration, reconciliation and testing experience
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong stakeholder management capability
  • Desirable: MRI Financials, finance transformation
