The role

An outstanding opportunity for an experienced restructuring professional to establish and lead a new regional Restructuring & Recovery offering within a highly successful national accounting and advisory firm. This role combines the autonomy and influence of building a service line with the support and infrastructure of an established business, creating a genuine platform for future equity and leadership progression.

What you'll do

Establish and lead the Midlands Restructuring & Recovery service offering
Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for the function
Originate and win restructuring, refinancing, turnaround and insolvency-related assignments
Build relationships with lenders, private equity houses, intermediaries, legal firms and key referral sources
Lead complex advisory engagements including business reviews, cash flow forecasting, contingency planning and stakeholder advisory
Work closely with partners across audit, tax, corporate finance and business advisory to maximise cross-selling opportunities
Recruit, develop and mentor a high-performing restructuring team

The Successful Applicant

Extensive experience within restructuring, recovery, turnaround, insolvency or related advisory services
Proven track record of winning and delivering restructuring assignments
Existing network of introducers and market contacts across the Midlands
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and capitalise on growth opportunities
Experience leading teams and developing future talent
