Requirements
What we're looking for
* Ideally HNC/HND qualified with significant experience in Tool Design and Definition
* Must have a significant amount of 3D modelling experience and be able to assess 3D models for their quality. Experience in 3D annotations would be a distinct advantage (preferably CREO)
* Ability to translate design intent from 3D models into high quality 2D/3D definitions (preferably CREO)
* Strong background in the production of engineering drawings with high attention to detail
* Knowledge of BS8888 Technical product documentation and specification, ISO 1101 Geometrical product specifications, ISO 5459 Datum and datum systems and similar standards and GD & T
* Great communication skills with the drive and initiative to influence a network of stakeholders

The Tool Design Team is at the heart of a rapidly evolving and high demand sector, delivering smart, adaptable tooling solutions across a wide range of aerospace projects.
What you'll do
* Deliver practical and innovative tool design solutions
* Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals
* Re-engineer existing solutions updating models, configuration and associated documentation.
* Manage your own project timelines and priorities ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
Tooling Design Engineer
Location: Bolton (hybrid - minimum 2 days onsite, remainder remote; workload dependent)
Duration: 6 months (extension possible)
Rate: £50 p/h (Umbrella)
IR35: Inside
Clearance: SC to start (UK Eyes Only)
