What we're looking for

  • Significant experience in technology or IT project management
  • Strong technical understanding and the ability to work effectively with technical teams
  • Experience managing multiple projects, stakeholders and competing priorities
  • Strong knowledge of project governance, risk management and delivery methodologies
  • Excellent communication, organisational and reporting skills

Nice to have

  • Experience with property or lease management systems would be advantageous
  • Experience working with finance systems would also be beneficial

The role

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager for an initial six-month contract. The role will involve managing projects within an established portfolio and requires a technically minded, pragmatic professional who is comfortable taking a hands-on approach to project delivery.

What you'll do

  • Manage the delivery of technology projects within the client's project portfolio
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets and risk registers
  • Coordinate internal teams, technical specialists and external stakeholders
  • Provide clear project governance, reporting and status updates
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, dependencies and changes
  • Translate business requirements into practical technical delivery plans
  • Take a sleeves-up approach to resolving challenges and maintaining project momentum
  • Support the successful delivery of projects from initiation through to completion

  • Initial six-month contract

  • Hybrid working - Fareham and home-based
