The role

Are you passionate about creating seamless digital experiences that deliver commercial results? Join Longleat as our Commercial Systems Manager and help shape how guests discover, book and pay for their visits to Longleat and Cheddar Gorge & Caves. Reporting to the Head of Commercial, you'll combine strategic thinking with hands-on operational support and major transformation projects across ticketing, payments, integrations, mobile applications, analytics and user experience.

Working closely with the Head of Commercial, you'll lead the day-to-day management and configuration of our ticketing products, supporting pricing, capacity planning, product architecture, trading priorities, payment integrations and continuous system improvement.

You'll own the end-to-end transaction ecosystem, bringing together ticketing, product configuration, pricing, capacity, checkout, payments, integrations and supplier relationships to keep booking journeys stable, well-governed and commercially effective.

You'll also shape the future of the Longleat app, owning its ongoing management and development and building a clear roadmap with the ambition of creating an industry-leading guest platform.

From the first website visit to the completed order, you'll identify and deliver improvements that make booking easier for our guests and maximise conversion.

What you'll be doing

Digital Systems

  • Manage ticketing configuration, pricing calendars, capacity rules and the Longleat app, maintaining access controls, operating procedures and controlled seasonal updates; oversee payment integrations, including Stripe and Klarna, and connections with EPOS, CRM and the app.
  • Lead supplier relationships, prioritised roadmaps and delivery sprints, supporting system selection, migration and implementation; improve checkout, payment flows and conversion through trading support, competitor insights and e-commerce KPIs agreed with the Head of Commercial.

Project Management & Commercial Acumen

  • Coordinate resolution of e-commerce and ticketing issues with teams and suppliers, and manage a structured business-as-usual request process that delivers commercial priorities throughout the year.
  • Monitor delivery and performance across the website, app and ticketing platform, identifying opportunities to increase commercial value and operational efficiency while supporting strategic objectives and the guest experience.

Problem Solving

  • Analyse data flows, systems and customer behaviour using multiple sources and qualitative and quantitative research, collaborating across functions to diagnose issues and understand customer and business needs.
  • Combine digital product management, customer insight and strategic analytics to develop evidence-based recommendations and improvements that strengthen the guest experience and commercial performance.

People and Stakeholder Management

  • Use sound judgement, diplomacy and strong interpersonal skills to manage interdependencies across teams, platforms, systems and products.
  • Build effective working relationships with the internal and external specialists involved in delivering the organisation's e-commerce platforms.

What you'll bring - essential skills and experience

You'll bring practical ticketing expertise, a data-led approach and the ability to turn business and guest needs into clear delivery priorities. We're looking for:

  • A relevant degree or equivalent professional experience, with three to five years' experience in ticketing systems and product configuration, a practical understanding of integrated digital platforms, and experience scoping projects and documenting specifications and requirements.
  • Proficiency in web analytics and reporting tools, with experience evaluating website funnels and using insight to improve conversion, content, design and information architecture.

If you're ready to combine hands-on product management with the opportunity to shape digital journeys for Longleat and Cheddar Gorge & Caves, we'd love to hear from you.
