What we're looking for

Full UK driving licence.
Experience in mechanical, electrical and trim work within an automotive body repair environment, with a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Strong skills in removing and refitting mechanical, electrical and trim components, with excellent attention to correct fit, function and finish.
Confidence identifying faults, using diagnostic equipment, following manufacturer repair methods and managing your workload efficiently.
A commitment to safe working practices and thorough quality checks, working collaboratively with panel and paint colleagues throughout the repair process.

Bring your technical expertise and eye for detail to Gateshead Bodyshop as a Mechanical, Electrical and Trim (MET) Technician. Play a key role in the repair process by removing and refitting vehicle components, identifying faults and completing repairs in line with manufacturer methods. Take pride in precise, high-quality workmanship while developing your skills within a supportive team.
