Job Description
Just imagine a simpler, more connected way to plan demand, where commercial ambition and operational execution work from the same trusted signal. Then make it real.
About the role
As our Senior Director, Global Demand Planning, you'll own the LEGO® demand planning capability across regions, channels and planning horizons. You'll define the future demand planning operating model, decision rights, governance standards and capability roadmap, connecting commercial decisions with operational execution. At a pivotal stage of transformation, you'll shape how demand planning works across the LEGO Group and create one trusted demand signal to support commercial and operational decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Owned demand planning across regions, channels and planning horizons, with accountability for forecast accuracy and bias.
- Established global planning standards and cross-functional planning routines linking Commercial and Operations.
- Led implementation of a demand planning transformation program that changed planning processes, governance and adoption.
- Used forecast, inventory and commercial performance insights to recommend enterprise demand planning decisions.
- Led planning forums that aligned Commercial, Operations, Supply Chain and Finance around one demand signal.
- Built and led global demand planning teams with accountability for capability development and performance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Used advanced planning platforms, artificial intelligence-enabled forecasting or demand-sensing tools.
- Partnered with Supply Planning and Order Management teams to improve end-to-end planning decisions.
- Applied commercial and financial insight to planning decisions.
- Led change programs that increased adoption of new demand planning processes, governance and ways of working.
What you'll build
- A global Demand Planning vision, operating model, standards and decision principles with clear decision rights and a practical roadmap.
- Performance baselines and improvement priorities for forecast accuracy, bias, transparency and planner effectiveness.
- Consistent governance, planning standards and operating rhythms across business units and market groups.
- The business direction and implementation of a major transformation to strengthen how demand is planned globally.
- A balance between global consistency and local market insight to support better commercial and operational decisions.
- A connected team with clear objectives, accountability and opportunities to grow.
If you've created a common planning language, built trust between Commercial and Operations, and turned transformation programs into everyday ways of working, you'll feel at home here. What matters most is making difficult trade-offs clear and delivering measurable outcomes that last.
Life on the team
You'll join Global Commercial Operations, a team focused on connecting commercial ambition with operational execution. Together, the team strengthens demand planning, order management and inventory deployment across the LEGO Group. You'll be part of a global leadership community that values transparent priorities, clear accountability and open discussion of trade-offs while developing strong leaders and capabilities across the organization.
What success looks like
Over your first 12 months, you'll refine the global Demand Planning operating model, leadership accountabilities and performance measures needed to scale. You'll build adoption across regions, channels and planning horizons while strengthening improvement routines that support long-term performance. You'll work closely with leaders across Commercial, Operations, Supply Chain, Product Marketing and Development, Finance, Digital, Data, Technology, Commercial Operations Performance and Global Order Management to create a more connected approach to planning.
