What we're looking for

You hold a Full driving licence
You have demonstrable PFI and FM experience, with practical knowledge of payment mechanisms, deductions, relief events and contract change
You have experience operating at Senior Quantity Surveyor, Commercial Lead or equivalent level across multiple operational contracts
You have strong commercial acumen, including value for money, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, cash, debt and monthly reporting
You can provide clear commercial advice, support disputes and operate autonomously across competing priorities

The role

We're looking for a Commercial Lead (SQS Level) to join our Workplace Solutions PFI team based in London and South East.

We're recruiting for a Commercial Lead to support our Workplace Solutions PFI contracts across the London and South East region. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you'll provide practical commercial support to the Regional Manager, Contract Managers and contract teams, with a strong focus on business-as-usual performance, payment mechanism reporting and contractual compliance. You'll work autonomously and collaboratively with finance, lifecycle and operations teams to help protect Kier's commercial position while developing effective relationships with SPVs, Authorities and clients.

What you'll do

As a Commercial Lead (SQS Level), you'll be working within the Workplace Solutions PFI team, supporting them in delivering effective commercial management across the London and South East portfolio. Your day to day will include:

Managing payment mechanism reporting, deductions, relief events, applications for payment and contractual adjustments
Providing commercial support for business-as-usual FM delivery, protecting contractual entitlement and supporting debt recovery
Managing contract change and variations from instruction and quotation through to agreement and recovery
Supporting budgets, forecasts, accruals, cost control and monthly commercial reporting with finance and contract teams
Building effective working relationships with SPVs, Authorities, clients and operational stakeholders

How you'll work

Location: London and South East
Hours: 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
