We are looking for a creative, visionary leader to shape the next chapter at this charming hotel, combining 17th-century features with thoroughly modern facilities, nestled in the Kent countryside.
This is a role for someone who enjoys developing a business, building momentum and creating a culture where people feel supported, trained and inspired to deliver their best every day.
With a solid understanding of hotel operations, you will lead from the front, inspiring and supporting your team to deliver outstanding experiences at every stage of the guest journey. Creative thinking, commercial drive and a genuine commitment to developing, supporting and inspiring your team will serve you well as you lead this fantastic property.
This role reports to the Regional General Manager.
You are responsible for overseeing the smooth running of day-to-day operations while driving the hotel's commercial performance and long-term success. Guiding and nurturing your team, you ensure all revenue, guest satisfaction and brand targets are met.
Full details of the role will be discussed with the shortlisted candidates. If you'd like to find out more about the role before applying, why not reach out to our resourcing team at recruitment@kewgreenhotels.com.
You are an expert in hotel operations, but what you're best at is people. You take pride in building strong teams, developing future leaders and creating an environment where people feel confident, supported and motivated to succeed.
Whether you're nurturing a nervous new start or developing a future star, you always know how to get the best from your team. You instinctively know when it's time to step back and empower or when you must lead decisively, and you never shy away from a tough conversation. Providing clear direction to your HODs, you create a culture of ownership, where everyone is committed to achieve together.
An ideal candidate for this role should possess the following attributes:
The successful applicant will be offered a role subject to eligible Right to Work and a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. This role also requires the successful candidate to hold (or be willing to obtain) a personal licence and act as the Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS). The company will cover the cost, and your consent will be required before appointment.
Our rewards package includes:
A member of our recruitment team will be in touch to book a 15-minute chat with shortlisted candidates so we can get to know you better. If successful at this stage, you will then be invited to meet the Regional General Manager to discuss the role in greater detail. Final interviews will be conducted by the Director of Operations and Director of People.
We review applications as they come in, so apply early to avoid missing out. We may close the role once we've found the right person.
