The role
The Operations Control Centre (OCC) within Jet2 is one of the busiest areas to work within the company.
Join us as we're looking to hire an Operations Coordinator to join our Operations Control Team.
It's open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year!
This is the area of the business where the decisions made have a direct impact on our Customers, Aircraft and Colleagues. With this comes a lot of responsibility but also a lot of pride.
If you want a role where no 2 days will be the same and to be involved in an area that has arguably the biggest impact on our day to day flying programme, then our Operations Control Centre is the place you want to be!
What you'll do
Reporting to the Operations Controller, our Operations Coordinator will be responsible for monitoring the operational flying programme and coordinating support from all teams ensuring that we are operating safely and in accordance with all Company and Statutory requirements. This role plays a vital role in the achievement of Jet2.com's On Time Performance targets.
- Provide support to all flying operations with particular attention to weather, aircraft serviceability, crewing status and other potential issues that may have an adverse impact.
- Be able to think outside of the box but also follow company procedures and policies to ensure the safety of colleagues, customers, and company assets.
- Maintain a flight watch of all company flights and ensure accurate tracking of each aircraft as well as ensuring all flight information is completed and correctly entered and distributed as required.
How you'll work
This role will work across a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (2 days, 2 nights, 4 off - 12 hour) and is a Fixed-term contract for 12 months.
