The role

In this role, you will work closely with the Regional Finance Manager and Senior Finance Business Partner to provide finance and admin support to ITV News. You will perform month-end tasks and help oversee budgets and monitor headcount. You will fulfil general finance activities to support the finance team on an ad-hoc basis as required.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the accurate and timely provision of financial support for ITV Regional NewsTo offer financial support as required by the Regional Finance Manager and the businessProvide admin support to the Senior Finance Business PartnerAssist with the Budget / Forecast process as requiredPrepare detailed cost analysis of key cost driversAssist in preparing News Monthly Reporting and Budget PacksRaise purchase orders, freelance contracts/staff overtime paymentsAssist the Regional Finance Manager in ad hoc project work as requiredCoordinate gathering of Environmental data for ITV Environmental reporting including data required for Albert certification

Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)

Part-qualified accountantStrong Excel skills Capable of adapting to new financial systemsAbility to travel and work with ITV News regions in different geographical locations
