What we're looking for
- Proven Mechanical Design Engineer experience within aerospace, aviation, eVTOL, or aircraft manufacturing.
- Strong composite design experience - essential.
- Strong CATIA V6 / 3DEXPERIENCE capability - essential.
- Experience designing aircraft structures, airframe components, composite parts, or mechanical systems.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote engineering environment.
The role
Remote, UK | Outside IR35 | Up to £45/hour | Initial 6-month contract
PRGC is supporting an innovative aerospace business developing next-generation aircraft technology. The programme is well-funded, fast-moving, and entering a significant stage of engineering development, creating a long-term requirement for experienced mechanical design engineers.
This is an opportunity to support the mechanical design of advanced composite aircraft structures and components within a highly technical development environment. You will contribute directly to an ambitious aircraft programme, working remotely alongside a specialist engineering team.
Contract details
- Initial term: 6 months
- Extension: Strong long-term potential, with years of programme work planned
- Location: Remote, UK-based
- IR35: Outside IR35
- Rate: Up to £45 per hour
