Business Analyst

At Mimica, we've developed a range of award-winning labels, called Bump, that tell you exactly when food spoils, based on storage conditions. Our mission is to radically reduce unnecessary food waste caused by the current expiry date system. We have launched our first product, the Bump Cap, and are in the customer trialling stage of our Bump Tag product.

Mimica is looking for someone to support our business activities, helping us pioneer our waste reduction products into the food industry.

Some of your activities may include:

• Supporting day-to-day business operations, administration and meeting coordination.
• Conducting desk and secondary market research, including market sizing, competitor analysis and industry trend analysis.
• Synthesising research findings into market reports, presentations and recommendations for the wider team.
• Analysing customer trial and pilot data to generate insights and support commercial decision-making.
• Supporting sales and business development activities, including prospect research, stakeholder mapping and CRM management.
• Assisting with customer pilot coordination, project proposals and grant applications.
• Representing Mimica at conferences, exhibitions and networking events.

We're looking for somebody passionate about sustainability, making a difference to food waste and who wants to learn how a start-up company operates from the inside.

You should have excellent attention to detail, be comfortable with Excel/Google Workspace and be comfortable about self-managing and taking on a broad range of tasks.

Place of work: This position can be remote or hybrid - you are free to work from any country as long as you align with the UK time zone. Our commercial team is based in London.

Start date: Ideally end of November 2026 but flexible for the right candidate.
