We offer an attractive annual gross salary starting from €70,000 with a willingness for significant overpayment, depending on qualification and experience.

The Role: Objective and Influence

We offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior AWS Modernization Consultant (m/f/d) to strengthen our AWS Services team within the EMEA Cloud Unified Services Centre and take on a key role in our further growth strategy.

This position combines Pre-Sales and Delivery and is aimed at a consultant who impresses both in the development of solutions together with customers and partners and in the independent implementation of demanding projects.

The focus is clearly on modernization with AWS - not on pure migration or infrastructure deployments. You will support customers in further developing applications, platforms, and operating models, particularly through cloud-native architectures, automation, DevOps, observability, optimization, and continuous improvement.

In this role, you will lead complex projects, provide technical direction, and support colleagues through mentoring.

• Leading technical qualification, discovery, and solution development for AWS modernization projects
• Conducting workshops with customers on topics such as application modernization, platform transformation, and cloud-native architectures
• Translating business requirements into modernization roadmaps, architecture concepts, and actionable consulting services
• Creating and contributing to proposals, effort estimations, and Statements of Work (SoW)
• Building and maintaining trusting customer and partner relationships as well as close collaboration with internal teams
• Conception and implementation of modern architectures (e.g., containers, serverless, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, observability)
• Ensuring high-quality and consistent implementation in accordance with customer requirements
• Creating and maintaining architecture, design, and project documentation
• Supporting the transition to operational operations through knowledge transfer and best practices
• Continuous further training as well as monitoring new technologies, trends, and best practices
• Collaboration with internal experts (Subject Matter Experts) and cross-functional teams
• Developing a sound understanding of the services and solutions of the EMEA Unified Services Centre
