The post holder will maintain equipment and infrastructure, coordinating refurbishments and relocations, and work closely with central departments including Estates, ICT, Finance and Safety as required.

The post holder will lead on training and induction of staff and students, promoting safe and efficient laboratory practices. This includes delivering inductions, supporting compliance, providing first-line advice, resolving operational issues and liaising with a wide range of stakeholders, including researchers, service providers and external contractors.
