What you'll do
As a team member in IKEA's Fulfilment team, you'll be right in the heart of the action-picking, packing, and prepping orders. It's a fast-paced, hands-on role where teamwork, energy, and a knack for staying organised turn a busy day into a satisfying one. If you like moving with purpose and making things happen, this could be your perfect fit.
• Pick, check and prepare customer orders for Click & Collect, home delivery and in-store collection.
• Provide an efficient and accurate collection experience, handing over orders and supporting customers when they arrive in store.
• Receive stock, replenish products and maintain accurate inventory to ensure strong product availability for customers.
• Use IKEA systems and handheld technology to support order fulfilment and stock accuracy.
• Carry out quality checks to ensure orders are correct, complete and free from damage.
• Support the returns process by handling returned products accurately and ensuring they are made available for sale as quickly as possible.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment, including general housekeeping and stock organisation.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the store to improve the customer experience and support fulfilment operations.
• Follow all IKEA health, safety and security procedures and actively contribute to a safe environment for customers and co-workers.
• Safely use manual handling equipment and work around warehouse machinery, such as pump trucks and forklifts, in accordance with training and safety guidelines.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
• Previous warehouse or stock handling experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Ability to prioritise and organise your workload effectively, with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable using computers, handheld devices and internal systems to support stock accuracy and order fulfilment.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Adaptable and able to switch between tasks while working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically capable of carrying out manual handling tasks, including picking, checking and moving customer orders.
