What you'll do
Job Purpose
This is a founding role in a brand-new Digital and AI Engineering team at Kingspan Insulated Panels. You will be the technical leader responsible for shaping how we build AI-powered solutions from the ground up. Reporting directly to the Divisional Digital Lead, you will own the technical direction, lead a small digital & AI engineering squad, and be hands-on in building solutions that integrate AI into real business processes.
This is not a pure management role. You will be a player-coach, spending approximately 50 to 60 percent of your time writing code and making architecture decisions, with the remaining time dedicated to leading, mentoring, and managing delivery.
You will be joining at the very start of our AI engineering journey, meaning you will have genuine influence over ways of working, and the culture of the team as it grows.
