An elite hedge fund is seeking a talented KDB+/Q Developer to help build out a next-generation research and analytics platform. In this role, you'll engineer high-performance systems that process massive volumes of real-time market data, directly supporting advanced trading strategies across global markets. The Role
As a KDB+/Q Developer, you will work at the core of the firm's data strategy, developing scalable, mission-critical tools that are central to the firm's strategic edge.

Key responsibilities include

• Designing and engineering high-performance systems to process and analyze massive volumes of real-time market data.

• Building out a next-generation research and analytics platform from the ground up.

• Collaborating closely with Quant Researchers, Portfolio Managers, and Traders to translate complex requirements into technical solutions.

• Developing scalable infrastructure that supports mission-critical trading activities across global markets.

• Influencing system architecture and design within a flat-structured, engineering-first environment.

Requirements

• Education: A STEM degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.

• Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with KDB+/q, preferably in a production or trading environment.

• Experience: 1+ year(s) of experience in software engineering, ideally with exposure to real-time data systems.

• Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with electronic trading infrastructure is highly desirable.
