The role
We are looking for a passionate and capable Youth Pastor to provide leadership in the organising, planning, and delivery of our youth ministry, while pastoring young people and supporting the youth team.
What you'll do
- Lead and support the delivery of the weekly youth programme
- Pastor and disciple young people through 1:1s, Pods, and group settings
- Oversee and develop key youth spaces (e.g. Upper Room, Gaming, Young Guns)
- Plan and deliver youth events and conferences (e.g. Leadership Conference, Youth Weekend Away, Focus Youth)
- Recruit, train, onboard, and support the youth team community
- Provide pastoral care to teenagers and the wider youth team
- Build relationships with local schools and engage young people in the community
- Manage communications (parent emails, team updates, term dates, event promotion)
- Support financial and administrative processes (expenses, POs, production and verger requests)
- Represent HTB Youth through speaking engagements and resource creation
- Line manage members of the youth staff team
Requirements
- Proven record working with young people
- Passion for and knowledge of HTB Youth
- Able to lead a small group competently
- Committed Christian for this pastoral role
- High degree of administrative ability with a keen eye for detail
- Highly organised with experience in an administrative role
