In this role you'll:

- Work closely with Senior Management to challenge the first line of defence when Regulatory Compliance risks arise from Payments and Products
- Review, interpret, and support embedding of policies, procedures, and change activity from a compliance point of view.
- Be the first point of contact on matters related to Regulatory Compliance for our UK Commercial Bank's payments and products
- Interpret and work with the business to embed and ensure adherence to policies and regulatory change
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

- Strong working knowledge and experience of financial services, the payments industry, and regulatory landscape
- Proven ability to liaise with and influence senior stakeholders and wider teams particularly around business and regulatory implications of analysis and findings
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with thorough attention to detail
- The ability to understand and navigate complex organisation structures
- Proven track record in leading teams in a fast-changing environment
- Evidence of dealing with confidential and sensitive information or issues
