As a Casual Painter and Decorator at DoubleTree Brighton Metropole, you're not just ensuring that all painted surfaces, wall coverings, and finishes are well-maintained and visually appealing - you're spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Exceptional Hospitality Starts with You

Picture yourself brightening someone's day. When you join our Hotels team, that's exactly what you'll do every time you come to work! As a Casual Painter and Decorator, and finishes are well-maintained and visually appealing - you're spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

• Prepare and apply finishes: Paint and polish surfaces in hotel rooms and public areas to meet required standards and timelines
• Install and repair wall and ceiling coverings: Work with materials like vinyl, fabric, and foil, and maintain caulked, grouted, wooden, and masonry surfaces with stain, varnish, and lacquer
• Maintain tools and equipment: Keep all painting tools, equipment, and work areas in excellent working condition
• Manage painting supplies: Oversee supply inventory and ensure all paints and solvents are stored safely and properly
