Warehouse Operative Nights in Wigan

Here at GXO Logistics, we are looking for full-time Warehouse Operative Nights to join our Wigan team at Heinz Kraft.

This is a permanent full-time role. You will be working 8 hours shifts, Sunday to Thursday/ Monday to Friday, Nights 22:00 - 06:00

What you will do on a typical day

• Load and dispatch vehicles safely and on time, completing all associated paperwork accurately.
• Unload inbound vehicles, receipt stock correctly, and maintain high standards of quality and accuracy
• Carry out case picking activities to ensure customer orders are assembled accurately and meet operational deadlines
• Complete stock replenishment tasks, ensuring correct stock rotation and efficient use of warehouse equipment and systems
• Operate warehouse equipment including FLT, LLOP, ECB, and Radio Data Terminals while supporting safe and efficient operations
• Maintain excellent housekeeping, food safety, health and safety standards, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and company development programmes

What you need to success at GXO

• Previous experience within a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment, including order picking, loading, and unloading activities
• Experience using warehouse systems and technology such as WMS, SAP, handheld scanners, or RF devices
• FLT, Reach Truck, Counterbalance, or LLOP experience would be advantageous
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately, safely, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible, reliable, and motivated team player with excellent communication skills and a willingness to support continuous improvement
• Committed to maintaining high standards of health and safety, with the ability to undertake manual handling duties when required
