Assistant Grounds Person

The Assistant Grounds Person will assist with the delivery of high quality grounds maintenance services across our facilities at Blundell Park, the Training Ground and our Academy facility at Oasis Wintringham.

• be responsible for completing allocated ground maintenance tasks from start to finish with required time frames.
• carry out grass cutting using ride on and pedestrian mowers.
• mark out the lines on the football pitches at the training or academy facility using a battery marker or a wheel-to-wheel marker.
• drive the tractor and use the machines that are attached via a 3-point linkage such as aerating, fertiliser application, grass cutting etc.
• repair any damage caused on the grass pitches by the training schedule.
• tidy and cut back the bushes and shrubs on the training ground using hand tools and power tools.
• maintain and operate equipment such as strimmers and mowers.
• carry out general maintenance tasks as required.
• undertake any other reasonable duties as requested.
