Bank Physiotherapist

• Experience of undertaking physiotherapy assessment and treatment for people with a wide range of physical needs including neurological, functional, musculoskeletal, orthopaedic and respiratory care needs.
• Experience in carrying out Physiotherapy and environmentally specific risk assessments including moving and handling and hydrotherapy.
• Experience of multi-disciplinary working.
• Degree in Physiotherapy and currently registered with Healthcare Professionals Council and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
• Hydrotherapy qualification (or equivalent e.g. aquatic therapy).
• A clear understanding of the CSP professional code of conduct and relevant professional guidelines.
• Awareness of the principles of person centered care.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation applicable to adults with complex needs (e.g. M.C.A.)
• Evidence of CPD.

• To work assist the Lead Physiotherapist to deliver high quality, client focused and person centred physiotherapy/hydrotherapy services to client s within the Centre.
• To provide, in the absence of the Lead Physiotherapist effective operational and clinical leadership and management of physiotherapy/hydrotherapy services delivered within the Centre ensuring compliance with current regulatory requirements.
• To contribute to the continuous improvement and development of physiotherapy/hydrotherapy services within the Centre to meet the needs of current and prospective clients
