Security Engineer

Gigged AI is an On demand talent marketplace specialising in the IT and technology sector. We have an opportunity live at the moment for a Security Engineer - Outside IR35 - Remote (UK Based) within one of our clients.

We are seeking a Security Engineer to join a carve-out project. The role involves advising and supporting a newly formed technology team in managing and delivering multiple security capabilities across endpoint security, network security, cloud and attack surface management, AI security, and governance.

Provide expertise and guidance on managing endpoint security using Cortex XDR.

Advise on network security technologies including Prisma Access, Prisma SD-WAN, and firewalls managed via Strata Cloud Manager.

Support cloud security and attack surface management capabilities with Cortex Cloud and Cortex ASM.

Collaborate on AI-driven security technologies, particularly Palo AI Security.

Manage security information and event management (SIEM) and managed detection and response (MDR) systems.

Oversee identity and access management tools such as Purview, SailPoint, and Delinea PAM.

Handle certificate management and related applications.

Utilize ServiceNow GRC for governance, risk, and compliance activities.

Note: Later UK working hours preferred, e.g. 10AM to 6/7PM UK time

Proficiency with Cortex XDR for endpoint protection.

Experience with Prisma Access for network security.

Knowledge of SIEM solutions (general experience inferred, as specific products other than Cortex XDR are not listed).

Familiarity with Microsoft Purview and SailPoint for identity and access management.

Experience with Delinea PAM for privileged access management.

Broad understanding of security frameworks and governance tools.

Effective management and delivery of the above security capabilities.

Advisory and support services to the technology team during the project.

Ensuring robust security posture across endpoint, network, cloud, AI, and governance domains.

Documentation and reporting related to security standards and compliance.
