The role
Site Agent / Senior Site Agent
Contract | Outside IR35 | £400-£425 per day | South East England (Surrey area)
We're looking for a Site Agent or Senior Site Agent to take charge on major wastewater treatment projects within a long-running regulated water framework: valued at £15M+. In pre-construction and early contractor involvement now, with main works set to begin early next year. You'll be on the ground early enough to influence how they're built.
What you'll do
The Opportunity
You'll be the site lead from first principles through to completion. That means:
- Shaping the early stages alongside the Project Manager and Senior Project Manager, supporting planning and documentation through de-risking, ECI, ecology and trial holes
- Leading enabling works and welfare setup, then running day-to-day operations through the full construction phase
- Coordinating civils, mechanical, electrical and ICA (MEICA) works across multiple disciplines on technically demanding sites
- Owning the standards: Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality compliance, plus the Construction Phase Plan and Environmental Plan
- Driving subcontractor performance and keeping clients, supply chain and internal teams aligned
- Working safely around live services, where your judgement matters most
What You'll Bring
Water sector experience is preferred but not essential. If you're a Tier 1 operator with the process discipline and safety mindset to match, we want to hear from you.
A Quick Note on the Role
This is a hands-on, on-site position, so you'll always be on a working site or hub, never behind a desk.
