This is an opportunity to join one of the UK's leading Tier 1 infrastructure contractors on a flagship programme that will run for years, not months. If you're a Senior Quantity Surveyor who enjoys taking ownership, managing complex NEC contracts, and seeing projects through from inception to completion, this could be the ideal next assignment.

The Opportunity

You'll become a key member of an established commercial team delivering a high-profile infrastructure project in Hampshire. Working closely with operational and commercial stakeholders, you'll be responsible for driving commercial performance whilst ensuring robust cost control throughout the project lifecycle.

This is a role for a commercially astute professional who can challenge where necessary, manage risk effectively and build strong relationships across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing project costs, forecasts and monthly financial reporting
• Procuring and administering subcontract packages
• NEC contract administration and compensation event management
• Assessing, negotiating and agreeing subcontractor accounts and claims
• Managing project risks, opportunities and change control processes
• Supporting operational teams with commercial guidance and challenge
• Monitoring cash flow and ensuring commercial governance is maintained
• Contributing to commercial strategy as the project progresses into construction

What We're Looking For

We're keen to speak with Senior Quantity Surveyors who can demonstrate:

• Proven experience delivering major infrastructure or civil engineering projects
• Strong NEC contract knowledge
• Excellent cost control, forecasting and financial management skills
• Experience managing subcontractors and complex supply chains
• A track record of managing change, risk and commercial issues effectively
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Previous experience working for a Tier 1 contractor would be advantageous
